What a great evening we had at Peppers last Friday night for our daughter's rehearsal dinner. The table was beautifully decorated with beautiful votive candles and white pumpkins and the food was absolutely amazing. The wedding soup and garlic bread started off the meal, followed by a delicious Caesar Salad and a variety of pasta dishes. The service was spot on and the evening was delightful. What a wonderful find. My Italian wife gave it two thumbs up. Service and food spot on. Generous wine pour. Met one of the owners on our way out the fact that family is there and cares is obvious. It's a very small place so I would recommend reservations if you plan on going.

Peppers is fantastic! I've had nothing but good food around and the owner Joe seems to really know what he's doing! A smooth, delightful, and intimate experience every time. As having lived in Lakewood for several years many moons ago, this is definitely one of the reasons I continue to come back to this city. A necessary stop, I'd recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to next time!

This is one of my favorites in all of Lakewood. First of all, and most importantly, Joe has a great feel for people, and his staff is outstanding. Nice as heck. The bad seeds, so to speak, aren't there very long. Now, years and years ago, Peppers was a decent place to go, not outstanding, but popular with many Lakewoodites. So, non-Italians bought it, and it was the worst, rushed food ever. Took friends; swore I'd never come back. Noticed a new, improved facade and logo, so I popped in. First visit, I went by myself, and lovely Katerina the real ballerina, was my - I hate the term, server. Ordered the veal piccata, something I was quite particular, as I worked in one of the best restaurants in Akron (sure miss you Ralph). High standards. Peppers' is not the same, as it is breaded, but it is the best I've had since the seventies. Katarina was such a gift! She's a unique and beautiful people person. So satisfied and well fed. Took some home. Joe has authentic Italian, and a bar that is a wonderful place to just hang out. Long story short, this is a great pace to go if you're in Lakewood. Joe - I had your pasta fagioli this evening. Most unique I've had, and the pasta was fantastically al dente. I will say though, it was a tad oo salty. Tell cef to watch that next time. Still quite good. Want a nice time out with the family, best friend, date night, anything. And, they have a huge takeout biz.YELP, I HAD BETTER BE ABLE TO EDIT THIS. Yo ! This is the 1st time a owner step to me and introduce themself. Andy is a gracious host and his staff seem to work in harmony. My waitress was excellent I forgot her name but she took care of me. I really enjoyed my self and plan on coming back. Check them out. God Bless

Went to Pepper's with a friend and enjoyed the Sticks! Wow the Sticks were so lovely. Not your typical cheese sticks, these where so food, on a stick and in a pool of sauce. Yum! I got the eggplant Parmesan and I had enough food for for at least 4, yes four meals. There wasn't anything special about it except for being huge which made the price acceptable. It was tasteful. The place is supper cute mom and pop local spot. The service was decent. My friend got the a pizza and it was huge. He enjoyed it. Over all the food is good, serving sizes are huge and shareable, the service was attentive. So if you are looking for Italian food, check out Pepper's. They also have a nice side patio with shade and floral arrangements nicely placed.

I just had a wonderful meal at Peppers. I drove into Cleveland this evening from Chicago and was starving and it showed this place was only a 2 minute walk from the Airbnb where I was staying. Ive had a lot of bad luck with restaurants while traveling so I was dubious. What a pleasant surprise, the entire staff was super friendly, my server Katy was upbeat and efficient and the food was delicious along with huge portions. In fact the entrees are enough for two meals! I had the chicken marsala, with a side salad and a beer and everything was excellent. Wish I were staying longer so I could eat there again.
